Better Piggies Rescue x Thrive & Rooted

Pollination Grant Partnership

Through the Pollination Grant, Thrive & Rooted has stepped alongside Better Piggies Rescue to uplift their mission through storytelling, creativity, and community education. We spent time on the ground capturing the spirit of the sanctuary and produced both a full-length community video and a short social media version to help more people meet the pigs, hear their stories, and understand the importance of the rescue’s work.

Our work continued beyond the barn. We hosted an educational booth focused on the intelligence and emotional lives of pigs and premiered our video for families curious about compassionate living. Kids and adults learned that pigs can solve puzzles, remember faces, form friendships, and experience the world in remarkably complex ways.

To make that learning experience even more engaging for children and families, Thrive & Rooted also created a custom coloring and activity book inspired by Better Piggies Rescue. Designed to promote the rescue’s work in a fun and approachable way, the book gives young people another opportunity to learn about pigs, compassion, animal care, and the role sanctuaries play in the community.

To widen the circle even further, we ran digital ads designed to bring new supporters, volunteers, and adopters to Better Piggies Rescue, using storytelling to turn awareness into meaningful action.

This collaboration reminds us that compassion grows stronger when it is shared, and we are honored to help these rescued pigs and the people who care for them shine.
